Steps to reproduce
When not exiting the app but just minimizing it and then opening again the problem will apear after paning the map.
Description
The map updates every 2 seconds or so even if I've stopped paning the map. The turf app has by itself used 336 MB of mobile data in two days, it has also used 446 MB wi-fi but that doesn't concern me that much..
