I had similar issues with my OnePlus 6T. Turf and Waze were showing a position way off while other applications worked fine. For me the sollution was to download this application, please give it a try: play.google.com/store/apps/...

The GPS works for all other apps, but not for Turf. It just jumps around and places me at different places every 10 seconds, sometimes several kilometers in different directions. I had to stop turfing about a month ago!

Since I installed Android 9 Pie on my phone the GPS completely malfunction in the Turfgame app. Similar problems as above reports. Previously when I had this problem I was able to get the GPS function normally again by reinstall the app, but even this no longer works. The GPS position movement accelerate; If i move one-two steps in a direction i.e. north, the GPS jumps 20-25 meters in any direction, completely uncontrolled. There is no way I am able to enter a zone and grasp it. Sadly I Already dropped from league 4 to 5 and if this continues I will probably drop down one more league this month.

This is most likely not an issue with the turf app, but with the gps settings. Switch of Location accuracy, see a guide here www.androidpolice.com/2018/... Then use a gps fix app, for instance play.google.com/store/apps/... That should fix the problem.
