Steps to reproduce

Take a zone with the app in the background, or wait doe someone else to take a zone while you keep the app in the background. Then explore zoom levels.

Description

As a foot turfter, I often walk around with earbuds and the phone in a pocket. When a zone is taken (by me or anyone else), or a block times out, the zone status is wrong when I bring the app to the foreground. It looks correct in some zoom levels, probably because that level wasn't cached. This problem had been around for years, and my workaround has for years been to toggle display of unique zones back and forth, since that seems to invalidate the cache. I'm not exactly familiar with how the caching works, but my guess is that a fresh update when bringing the app to the foreground, is the solution to this bug. Or at least to do the same magic that my toggling triggers.

Update: this sometimes happens even with the app in the foreground, but seems to happen much less often, and in fewer zoom levels.

This has not been around for years for me, just the last few updates. I think this is a major bug, since it makes it difficult to see which zones you have taken and if you have missed some. The zoom level seems to affect it. Zooming out turns the zones to the right colour, but zooming back in shows them in the wrong colour again. It seems to sometimes happen the other way around as well, so that zones I have lost stay green. But I don´t notice that as often.
