Description

GasZoneWorks is currently 100m north of the Gas Holder that it relates to. For many years the Gas Holder has been cordoned off. Following a restoration programme as part of the £1.2bn regeneration of the area its now recently reopened (Apr 25) and fully accessible on foot / bike etc. Its a much better landmark from a turf tourism perspective and indeed the zone could be moved next to the new art installation of a breaching humpback whale that is in the centre of the Gas Holder. Moving it won't particularly affect the flow of zones in this area and there would be no need to rename the zone - though it could be changed to GasHolder to be completely accurate.
