I have now taken zones in 221 of the 369 kommuner that currently have zones in Northern Ireland (for 1246 zones). I think that these Kommuner are actually the wards and not the government districts - see attached .pdf map. It has been suggested that the map layer for Northern Ireland has been set a level too 'low'. My recent trip aimed to visit all the districts in the hope that the Turfgame app will eventually be corrected and then I will have visited all the kommuner in the UK (like the Swedes who have visited all the Swedish Kommuner). The kommuner allocations don't even completely match the wards - for instance Town Parks appears to be a generic name for town centre wards. There are more than 369 wards so new zones could add to the challenge. I know that it isn't a top priority due to the lack of local turfers but would be nice for it to be sorted out. Thanks

Hi, After recently taking an interest in the areas in Turf, I found this issue myself and was about to file a report — turns out someone already had, so I'd like to add my support here instead. Instead of council-level areas like the rest of the UK uses (e.g. Cornwall, Highland, City of Edinburgh), Northern Ireland zones are assigned to townlands — an old, extremely fine-grained Irish land-division unit. There are already hundreds of these in the data — Ballyaghagan, Ballybeen, Cregagh, Knocknagoney, Malone Lower, Castlereagh, Sydenham Intake, Whiteabbey, to name a few — and Northern Ireland has around 9,500 townlands in total, so this could keep growing into the thousands as more zones get created there. None of Northern Ireland's 11 actual local government districts show up anywhere in the area list. I think it should just be these 11, matching how the rest of the UK is handled: - Antrim and Newtownabbey - Ards and North Down - Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon - Belfast - Causeway Coast and Glens - Derry City and Strabane - Fermanagh and Omagh - Lisburn and Castlereagh - Mid and East Antrim - Mid Ulster - Newry, Mourne and Down Would be great if the NI zones could get re-assigned to these 11 districts instead of the current townlands.
