I seem to be in one of the following 1. (most commonly) described as above or 2. I am connected too gps but cant se any zones and seemingly not "connected" to my account or 3. i am connected to my account, but when i enter zones the bar goes up but i dont register the zone as taken. 4. it works (has happened twice)....

Does the GPS work properly in other applications, such as GPS Test (play.google.com/store/apps/...), Endomondo, Runkeeper, Strava, etc?

Yes it does. It does not even seem to "my" account. When i press the "man"-icon it says "5z 12312p +55" Whick does not apply to me...

"5z 12312p +55" means that you don't have proper network connection. See the attached image I took after setting the phone in flight mode and starting Turf.

I have the same problem with my HTC Desire. When I start the application the GPS shuts down after 10 seconds, then when I have restarted it, it works properly through the whole session. I have problems in other applications like Ingress or Google maps.

I've had this happen to me on two occasions now. The GPS suddenly switches off in the app (but is still active in the OS), and I can easily restart it by pressing the turf icon and yes. And it gets going for another 5 or so seconds and I'll need to repeat the procedure. The first time it happened to me, it started about halfway through a session and kept going for the rest of that day. The second time (a week or two later), it was already there and persisted for half an hour until I toggled the GPS on and off a few times in the OS, after which it worked fine for the rest of the day.

When I start up the GPS it only is on in between 5-15 seconds, but... When the GPS is in the zone it doesn't switch off. But when the icon "!" comes up it switch off again. Sometimes the GPS never switch off in a turf session, and sometimes it switch off (faster than a second)
