Steps to reproduce

Turf avatars sometimes get cloned on map. This Sunday we had an event in Malmö and it was present for many people both during and after the event. See attached screen shot.

Description

I get the impression this started to occur with the first release using smaller avatars (which was later replaced by a release going back to normal sized avatars).
