Current position (as in where map on turfgame.com is focused) isn't updated by takes since the new server software was installed

Steps to reproduce
Look at the the user page for a user who has just joined or travelled across the country. Even though there have been hours and days since they did a take in the new location, the map shows 0, 0 coordinates, or the previous location. I noticed this yesterday, and positions hasn't been updated since. Also the same problem surfaced previous time the server software were upgrade, the version that was later rolled back.
Description
Map should focus on last known position/take of a user, possible with a reasonable holdback. It should definitely be correct after an hour.
